For many businesses, the first and most prevalent form of advertising they do are vehicle graphics. Having a graphic wrap on your truck or car immediately gets your business’ name out there and/or reinforces your branding. It’s been calculated that, as a business owner, 3% of people staring at your automobile at any given moment needs or are actively seeking your goods or services. Now this may seem like a small number but really that’s 3% of a random sampling that would be extremely impressionable to a form of advertising on your car. That being said, for a vehicle graphic to work there are several important factors you must consider.

First off, you need to be rather clear and direct with your graphic presentation. If does you no good to have a splashy graphic presence on your truck, for example, if (1) there’s no mention whatsoever of the goods/services you provide or (2) you don’t have enough brand awareness to make an instant connection with an individual. Whatever design choice you go with for your vehicle graphic, make sure it conveys exactly what you do rather than simple branding.

Additionally, because of the limited time span a person has to view your truck or car graphic, one has to be very direct and clear with the message being conveyed. A truck sign is not the ideal place to test-out your company’s imaging or to present an obscure message. Rather, you need to get their attention with well-placed images and text and then direct that person to some understanding of your goods/services and, ultimately, to some variety of action such as a call or a visit to your website.

Ultimately, one of the hardest parts of vehicle graphics is maintaining a balance between an aesthetic appeal and the need for a sense of minimalism. One cannot just throw a bunch of information up on a car because it simply is impractical. There has to be a definitive cut-off in terms of what is necessary information to have as a graphic on a truck or car.

One of the easiest ways to solve these problems is to, of course, go to a renowned vehicle graphics company. Rather than separately going to a graphics company and then to a vehicle wrapping company, why not go to a company that has both departments in-house? In doing so, you truly do have the best of both worlds because the graphics can be tailored specifically to your automobile and communication is greatly improved.

While there’s much greater detail one can go into in regards to vehicle graphics, the above mentioned tips can get you started towards thinking about and then ultimately implementing well-placed vehicle graphics that brings customers your way and increases your brand awareness.

Imagine that you’re walking down the street and all of the sudden a van drives by with a beautiful lady or handsome man smiling and waving to you so clearly that it looks like their oversize bodies are actually coming to life off the van. Imagine next to them they’re holding a product that your company offers, or pointing to it, and behind them is an attractive and mind-blowing scenery that pulls your eyes deeper into the design.

The breath next to their lips shows you that it’s cool, and their hair waving behind them shows you they’re moving in the wind. The next part that sucks your eyes in is a list of services offered that you can use and finally at the last glance before the van drives out of site you see the phone number or website long enough to grab your phone and jot it down. That is what we call custom vehicle graphics!

It is proven, time and time again, that an attractive design is more powerful than a non-attractive design. Why do large companies spend so much time on designing their advertisements? It’s because they know the power of an attractive design. If a picture is worth 1000 words, than a good custom design is worth 1000 clients, or more!

So how do you know what is considered an attractive design? It’s actually very simple. You know when custom vehicle graphics have an attractive design, because it attracts you! There is something in graphic design called blind spots. Most people don’t know about blind spots, and typically the only people that can distinguish them are very experienced graphic designers, or very well trained highly paid graphic designers for large marketing companies. When you have a blind spot in the design of custom vehicle graphics, you lose the attraction of the power of the design. If you only move an image or some font a little in one direction, believe it or not, it can change the entire blind spot and make the design powerfully attractive.

When deciding whether to go with an attractive custom vehicle graphics design, or a basic template vehicle graphic design, most recommend to go with the custom one, even if it costs a little more, because remember, in the long run the design of your vehicle graphics is what’s going to determine how many new phone calls you get from your van wrap, truck wrap or car wrap.

For most truck owners and freight drivers, the worst case scenario involves an accident with their truck or semi. For these individuals, their freight truck is more than simple transportation; it is their literal livelihood to which they are behind the wheel. When something as significant as a collision occurs, the decision as to where you will have your truck repaired should not be taken lightly. Fortunately, there are some simple steps one can follow to ensure that the collision repair facility they choose is reputable, professional, and will provide quality service.

One of the best things anyone can do before committing to a collision repair company is to take a look at their facilities. One should be on the look out for a well-organized facility, with vehicles in equal value to yours. A well-organized, clean building layout should give you a clear presentation of the company’s professional attitude as well as their business approach. Similarly, by making sure they are repairing trucks akin to your own, to are ensuring that they have the expertise to repair your vehicle and get you back on the road.

One should also note the technology and equipment utilized by the company. You should be looking for relatively modern equipment to ensure that the collision repair company is up-to-date with industry technology. You should also ask or take note of whether or not the facility as on-the-site painting and graphics capability. Being able to paint your truck and/or restore graphics after collision repair services on the facility should save you money and the headache of finding additional service providers.

Additionally, consider whether or not a collision repair company has an extensive vehicle pool or rental truck backlog so that you can continue working as they repair your truck. For many self-employed service technicians, taking a few days off is not an option and, consequently, the option to choose from an extensive vehicle pool collection is a must.

One of the first things most owners look at in terms of choosing a collision repair specialist is the overall price of the repair work. While price is, indeed, an important factor to consider it shouldn’t be the end-all. Keep in mind that with large trucks and freight trucks, the greatest worry is not so much the visible damage but the potential hidden damage that could reappear miles down the road. It’s best to ensure that your vehicle undergoes an extensive diagnostics exam to make sure everything will be fixed properly.

While there’s little fun or comfort in having to choose a reputable collision repair specialist for your truck or freight, the following steps should hopefully guide you and make the decision easier. The most important thing to keep in mind is that many rely on their truck for their profession and that you need to ensure a professional collision repair job.
